Role Purpose:
Reporting to Head of Corporate Communications, the Corporate Communications Manager is a strategic role responsible for developing and executing corporate communication strategies that enhance AS Watson’s reputation, brand, and stakeholder engagement across markets. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, the role ensures consistent, impactful storytelling across all channels while supporting the Group’s vision and values, ultimately putting a smile on customers’ faces through trusted, meaningful and engaging communications.
A typical day in this Role:
- Overseeing a broad spectrum of corporate communication channels and activities, including media relations, public relations, social media, newsletters, websites, presentations, reports, crisis management and large-scale events, with a strong customer‑focused mindset across all touchpoints.
- Developing and executing integrated communication strategies to enhance AS Watson’s corporate brand, reputation and stakeholder engagement, supporting an O+O (Offline + Online) business model that connects physical and digital platforms seamlessly
- Leading high‑quality content creation such as speeches, presentations, articles and social media content, applying a scientific and data‑driven approach to optimise messaging effectiveness and brand awareness across corporate websites and social platform.
- Planning, organising and managing the Group’s global and large‑scale events, community projects and media engagements, while working in close partnership with cross‑functional teams, demonstrating collaboration as our way of working.
- Managing internal and external communications, including press releases, media relations and crisis communications, ensuring timely, consistent and aligned messaging.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with media, business partners and key stakeholders to strengthen brand reputation and trust.
- Leading, mentoring and developing the Corporate Communications team, and coordinating with external resources to deliver projects effectively and achieve communication objectives.
