Brand Marketing Manager

Role Purpose:

Join our dynamic and passionate team as a Regional Brand Marketing Manager for Watsons Own Brand Health & Beauty products. In this role, you will support the strategic growth of the Watsons Own Brand portfolio across Asia by driving brand visibility and execution excellence both in‑store and online—always with the goal of putting a smile on customers’ faces.
You will strategize and execute initiatives aligned with our brand objectives, strengthening customer awareness and engagement, and ensuring Watsons Own Brand becomes the customer’s first choice across Asia through impactful, customer‑centric O+O (Offline + Online) experiences.
 
A typical day in this Role:

Customer‑Focused Brand Execution

  • Develop innovative packaging designs, marketing toolkits, and communication materials that address consumer needs and shopping behaviours.
    Ensure clear, engaging value propositions across all brand touchpoints.

O+O (Offline + Online) Activation

  • Lead the creation of integrated brand assets across retail POS, in‑store displays, online and digital channels.
    Maximise in‑store and online visibility through cohesive storytelling and consistent messaging.

Collaboration & Market Support

  • Collaborate closely with Product Development, local markets, and agencies to deliver brand strategies, product design, and campaigns.
    Support markets with clear communication plans, adaptable toolkits, and best practices to drive revenue growth.
  • Brand Gatekeeping & Governance
    Ensure adherence to brand principles, guidelines, and campaign mandatories across all materials and executions.

Scientific & Data‑Driven Approach

  • Track and report campaign performance, material effectiveness, and results to inform optimisation.
    Monitor market trends, competitor activity, CRM data, and consumer insights, translating data into actionable recommendations.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage and control the marketing budget to ensure efficient use of resources and strong return on investment.

Success will depend on:

  • Experience in brand marketing, preferably in eCommerce, FMCG, and at a regional level.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and marketing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese preferable
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, content marketing)
  • Experience with UX/UI projects and digital marketing is a strong plus.
  • Familiar with data management and knowledge of Google Analytics and WordPress would be an advantage.
