GTM & Web Analytics Specialist

This is a pivotal role focused on owning and optimising our digital tracking infrastructure to enable accurate, scalable, and privacy-compliant data collection across web and app platforms. 
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust tagging solutions that empower data-driven decisions and enhance customer experiences across multiple European markets to support our O+O strategy, so we can put a smile on our customers’ faces today and tomorrow. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Applying strong tag management expertise by owning the end-to-end setup and optimisation of Google Tag Manager (GTM) across web and app properties,  
• Cross-functional collaboration with development, UX, product and CRO teams to design scalable tagging solutions aligned to business goals 
• Supporting cross-platform, cross-device and cross-channel tracking initiatives to build a more complete view of user journeys, applying customer journey analysis 
• Technical development skills building and maintaining custom APIs and integrations to enable advanced tracking capabilities 
• Leading the development and governance of data layer specifications and documentation to ensure consistency across markets, using data architecture knowledge 
• Conducting audits, QA testing and debugging of tags, triggers and data outputs to maintain accuracy, applying strong attention to detail 
• Driving mobile app analytics using Firebase and GA4, ensuring consistency and reliability across platforms  
• Providing guidance, training and documentation to business units to upskill teams and standardise practices, using stakeholder enablement 
• Working closely with Data Governance teams to maintain clean, structured and compliant data practices, applying data governance awareness 

What You’ll Bring 

• Experience implementing and maintaining tracking using Google Tag Manager and GA4, demonstrating strong tracking implementation experience 
• Practical experience with Firebase, BigQuery and mobile app analytics, enabling deeper insight through data platform knowledge 
• Experience with server-side tagging and evolving tag management practices, bringing a forward-thinking approach to technical innovation 
• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft stack, supporting efficient delivery through digital proficiency 
• Familiarity with GDPR, cookie consent and privacy requirements, ensuring compliant tracking through privacy awareness 
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities 
• Excellent communication skills, confidently engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear communication
