Role Purpose:

We are looking for a passion Assistant Manager specializing in SEO marketing to join the Regional eCommerce Team. In this Regional role, you will help guide our SEO and content strategy, and be responsible for the planning, implementation and optimization of different SEO tactics to drive the growth of our Watsons eStore and Mobile App. 
What will set you apart will be your proven track record in driving SEO performance through your expertise in on-site, off-site and technical SEO. What would help you thrive in this position is your skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize appropriately.

 

A typical day in this Role:

  • Help define SEO roadmap and strategy to improve Watsons search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Optimize search conversion on Watsons eStore with on-site search solutions like Algolia search engine.
  • Uing your expertise in technical SEO to work confidently with the development team and external vendors to implement technical changes (i.e. define precise requirements for technical change requests, prepare test cases and lead the overall delivery of SEO-related projects).
  • Monitor SEO performance by building monthly reports that identify and track core KPI metrics, and to implement rectification actions.
  • Improve keyword rankings by performing keyword research and conducting regular content audits to find optimization opportunities.
  • Define ASO tactics to drive App Store ranking performance for Watsons Apps.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO practices and implement new techniques to boost traffic.

Success will depend on:

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in SEO campaign management with track record of improving performance.
    Knowledge in technical SEO in addition to on-site and off-site SEO (e.g. search engine algorithms, ranking methods, keyword research).
  • Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools, including GSC, Ahref, GA, SEMRush, SimilarWeb, Google My Business, etc.
  • Knowledge of HTML tagging, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders in local markets.
  • You’re resourceful and a problem-solver, operate in a fast-paced and sometimes unstructured environment.
  • You enjoy collaboration, and can work skillfully with stakeholders from multiple functional teams and across different levels across the organization.
  • You can manage multiple projects and external vendors effectively, and be able to re-prioritize focus as needed to meet timelines.
